After covid struck the world, physical education has become a myth as all educational institutes have been closed and students have to study through online classes.

Before covid struck, there was a little concept of online classes. Only a few institutes used to teach through online classes. But after Covid, all the institutes got closed due to safety issues. This is when online classes started. Institutes started to teach through online apps like Google classroom or Zoom. This became very famous and all the schools, colleges, and Universities started online classes.

Because many students from underdeveloped countries did not know how to use these advanced tools. Generally, online classes are held on google teams or Zoom. These apps have all the functions for an online class to take place. Teachers become hosts of the meeting and they add all the students of their respective subject according to the class schedule and deliver the lecture. Teachers usually use their live videos to give a visual representation of the topic. Another way of delivering the lecture is by sharing screens. Teachers share their device’s screen with all students so that the students can understand it easily.
Do online classes equal the role of physical classes?
According to studies, physical education is the best for students. It nourishes the mind of a student and helps them focus on their work. Physical classes take care of the timetable of students and notice if a student is working well or not. Physical interaction with the class makes a student learn better. On the other hand, online classes are such a big flop. A teacher is teaching the class and behind the screen, most of the students are doing something else. They are watching movies or doing other chores. The thing we are trying to point out is that they do not focus on their studies.
Online courses
Teachers provide their students with online courses which most students do not even look at. They do not take online classes seriously as the teacher does not know who is focusing and who is not. This is where the physical interaction of student and teacher is missed.
Online exams
When online exams were a new thing many people did not know how to use the tools on which they had to give exams so they did searches like “How to take my online exam? In this way, online exams have promoted the concept of cheating so much that the students do not even look at their syllabus as they know they will pass through cheating. This is why physical exams are very important. Students do not know what they are learning in online classes. Their common sense, their intelligence gets weaker day by day. This is why physical education is way better than the online education system.
Online classes can never boost the mind of a student as physical classes do.
